EU enlargement creates a new extended market and thus makes a chance for innovative SMEs to compete for better position in this space. Lisbon strategy, its update and implementation with number of supporting funds, lay outs the way of development and provides advancement of SMEs, increasing in dynamics and competition. SMEs involvement in advancement of science, research, as well as innovation of technology, processes and equipment, calls for paying priority attention to human resources development. Vision, formulation of strategy, elaboration of complex programme, priority setting for concrete projects, and formation of conditions for implementation is a business for managers. This is the reason and purpose why short course on project management is being prepared for SMEs managers as a part of eBTS project.
